Types of CPAP mask

There are three types of masks that will help us obtain the comfort we seek and rest properly. Each type is designed to fit the way we sleep.

What is the best mask for sleep apnoea?

Choosing the best and most comfortable cpap mask for each of us is very important, so we´ll get the correct function and the best possible results.

There is not “ONE” best mask for snoring and apnoea. There will be one, which fits us comfortably and functional.

We offer you a guide to help you make the right choice:

Guide to knowing which one is right

  • Ask your doctor to find out which size will be right for you.
  • Define what type of mask you want to use (out of the three possible types).
  • Try the mask on when you have a quiet moment, while you are awake, to get used to it. This will help you to get used to it gradually.
  • Avoid leaks; the mask should fit snugly so that air does not get into your eyes or out of your eyes. If you have a mouth mask, should be snugly fitted so that air doesn’t get into your eyes or cause irritation from moving around.
  • If you are prone to dry mouth while sleeping, it helps to use a nasal mask and humidifier that connects to your humidifier that connects to your positive pressure machine.
  • As the days go by and you use it, you get used to it. Patience is recommended.
