Philips has recently issued a safety note on some of its products in which contraindications and warnings for use have been updated due to the fact that they contain ÍMANS.

You should be aware that they are CONTRAINDICATED in patients with:

Pacemakers
Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD)
Neurostimulators
Magnetic metal implants/electrodes/valves placed in the upper limbs, torso, or upper body (i.e. neck and head)
Brain-spinal fluid (CSF) shunts (e.g., ventriculo-peritoneal (VP) shunt)
aneurysm clips
Embolic coils
Intracranial aneurysm intravascular flow disrupting devices
Metal skull plates, screws, burr hole plugs, and bone replacement devices
Metallic splints in the eye
Eye implants (e.g., glaucoma implants, retinal implants)
Certain metal contact lenses
Implants to restore hearing or balance that have an implanted magnet (such as cochlear implants, implanted bone conduction hearing devices, and auditory brainstem implants)
Magnetic denture accessories
Metal gastrointestinal clips
Metal stents (e.g. aneurysm, coronary, tracheobronchial, biliary)
Implantable ports and pumps (e.g. insulin pumps)
Hypoglossal nerve stimulators
Devices labelled as unsafe for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
Magnetic metal implants not labelled for MRI or assessed for safety in a magnetic field

In addition, please note that the magnets used in the mask have an intensity of 400 mT. Please ensure that the mask is kept at least 15cm (approximately) away from any other implants not mentioned above.
